DailyBlog : Losing Memories

** Last spring saw the publication of the very first book in a six novella dystopian series I’ve been working on since early 2015. “Dark World : The Surface Girl” only $0.99 on kindle, or FREE if you’re a part of Kindle Unlimited! Check it out! The second installment is coming late fall 2016 and there is FREE “Dark World” bonus content right here on this blog!

For the sake of blogging and self-exploration and contemplation, I answer a question a day off of this list.

Today’s question : Would you rather lose all of your old memories or never be able to make new ones?

Absolutely door number one. There’s a lot of things in the past I’d like to forget… Some are things out of my control and some were choices I wish I would have made differently, and sure there’s some good memories in there too but I tend to look ahead more than backwards, at least, I try to. I’d like to think I have a much better quality of life ahead of me than looking back especially to times when I had no control over that (childhood) so I’d rather make new memories NOW and live life to its fullest than have only the past to dwell on, never holding to new memories as the days go by.

Now that I consider that, door number two sounds like a personal form of hell on earth, so to speak. Nope, nope and nope.
