** The first two books in my six part dystopian series have officially made their way out into the world! Check them out!
For the sake of blogging and self-exploration and contemplation, I’ve been slowly making my way through answering questions from this list.
Today’s Question : What would you not give up for $1,000,000 in cash?
I guess when it comes to questions like these, I’m glad that I don’t put a high value on money. I’m thankful that I’m able to live comfortably on my salary, and I’m even more grateful that I love my job, but I would never be rich because even if I Did come into a ton of money, I’d give it away to the people and animals who needed it. I try not to take more than I need in life.
What would I not give up for 1M? I suppose my values, first and foremost. No monetary bribe could convince me to treat others the ways they have treated me. I would never exploit someone’s vulnerabilities or painful pasts, or intentionally and gleefully betray any level of trust they put in me. Is there anything more valuable than the imprint we leave on those we cross paths with in life? I am not a perfect person by any means, I have a lot of flaws and scars, but I have a good heart, I’m compassionate, and I care. Although there are times I wish that I felt things with far less intensity, I wouldn’t change my heart for anything in the world.
