** The first two books in my six part dystopian series have officially made their way out into the world! Check them out!
For the sake of blogging and self-exploration and contemplation, I’ve been slowly making my way through answering questions from this list
Today’s Question : What would your ‘priceless’ Mastercard-style commercial be?
This is a very simple answer; chilling out, being surrounded by my pets.
Although things have been going very well for me, life is never perfect. I have moments where I feel sad about the things in life I miss out on, or the sacrifices that I had to make when I made certain choices about my life. But then I’m sitting on my couch with a blanket over my legs and my dogs and cats are all laying with me and things are relaxed and quiet with either something on my Netflix or a book / kindle in my hand, and I pause and take a moment to realize how perfect, in that moment, life is. How simple. How unburdened. How wonderful animals are to just love and be loved. They know nothing of judgement, or societal expectations or biases, you love them, and they love you.
Equally as amazing a moment, but something I haven’t had the chance to do in quite a while, is when I used to horseback ride, and I’d let my horse into a full-out gallop, and the wind would be whipping my hair back and the sound of thundering hooves would beat in my eardrums… absolute freedom. Like flying. Just me and my horse.
Either of those moments are definitely my version of “Priceless.”
