Let’s Chat Beechwood: Season 1, Episode 1, Chapter 6

My dystopian, sci-fi serial fiction, Beechwood, is currently FREE to read on my Wattpad! Updates are every Tuesday and Friday. Season 1, Episode 1, Chapter 6 is now LIVE! (Note, the free version is not professionally edited and minor mistakes I have missed may be present. Each episode will eventually be available on Kindle as well.)

Through the first five chapters, you’ve met the initial focus characters… but now, it’s time to tie a few of them together! This chapter brings Eden and Eloise “Ellie” Atkins out of The Tower and on a quest to discover what the symbols around Zulia’s body represented because Ellie, although not a Six, has a “feeling” of familiarity about the symbols and despite logic she believes she’ll find the answers in the library. Eden doesn’t necessarily believe her, but she has also rarely seen her sister assert herself in this way, so she reluctantly agrees to accompany her due to her feeling of obligation toward her. Through their interactions we begin to understand a bit more about the dynamic between them.
At the library, they run into Claire who fled there after being victimized by her often-attacker yet again at The Tower.
Eden quickly senses that they are not alone. She first mistakes the strange presence as someone sent to follow her and Ellie, but once they discover Claire, they realize that they were not the ones followed. This is the start of a precarious alliance between the Atkins twins and Claire as they now find themselves mixed up in Claire’s nightmare.

This alliance will be important not only to the girls’ continued survival as things get more and more dangerous inside of Beechwood, but also in putting their skills together to solve the mystery of who killed Zulia Montgomery. Start tuned… 🙂
