*** The first three books in my six-part dystopian series have officially made their way out into the world! Check them out!
For the sake of blogging, self-exploration, and contemplation, I’ve been slowly making my way through answering questions from this list
Today’s Question: What are your top three priorities?
My family would be my first priority, and by family, I mean my fur kids. I don’t really care what anyone’s opinion is (I’m a little irritated about something relating to this but that’s not something I want to vent about right now.) I love my human family, but honestly, I have never in my life had a lot in common with any of them, and often, they can be an emotional chore. My priority is to make sure that every furry creature that I commit myself to is healthy and happy and has their needs met.
My second priority is to really work hard to stick to my values and never allow others to take advantage of my kindness, or my struggling self-esteem in the ways multiple people have done so in the past. It’s a priority to me to only allow people in my life who improve my life by being a part of it. (Slight exception for family, but I do demand and keep necessary boundaries when it comes to them.) It’s a priority of mine to live my most authentic life, to focus on my happiness and my goals, and to really just try to find joy here and there in every day.
My third priority is my writing goals. I don’t often do nearly as well with them as I would in theory like to, but I would rather produce three books that I truly feel passionate about than ten books that I forced myself through that I just wasn’t feeling, because if the writing was forced, it will come across that way to the reader. But I am really making an effort to deliver nothing but the best that I can, these days.
