Today’s Question: What are your favorite simple pleasures?
Now this question is much easier to answer than the last one! I’m all about simplicity. I live by the cliches “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” and “the easiest way to get from Point A to Point B is a straight line.” So many people seem to make things so much more complicated than they need to be on a daily basis.
My favorite simple pleasures are spending time with friends, curling up in a lot of blankets on my bed and watching Netflix, spending time with my horses, diving into a good book that I can’t put down, and my morning cup of coffee. Being quiet, calm, and cozy is when I feel most at peace. I love twinkle lights and candles. I love hot chocolate in the winter, and lemonade in the summer. I love when something ignites my creativity. I’m not impressed by, nor do I desire expensive things. Thoughtful gestures mean so much more to me. The phrase “simple pleasures” is so accurate when it comes to how I live my best life.
