PremiseA small, controlled prison disguised as a town in the near future hides away victims of genetic experimentation. The experiments have caused a multitude of mental anomalies and the government continues to use the victims as lab rats. The story of Beechwood begins with a murder that no one is able to solve. As the layers of perplexity unfold, secrets beyond what goes on in The Tower begin to reveal themselves. In Beechwood, everyone has something to hide, and everyone is a suspect.

Poor August Joplin! He didn’t ask to be tangled up in the crazy web of Bronson’s schemes, but then again, no one in Beechwood asked for that, either. Hendrix Joplin’s son August had no idea that Bronson was still active, but the mysterious Asher Chen fills him in on the truth and gives him a choice; does he want to get tested to see if his brain had been altered? If it was, would he be willing to join Dr. Langston’s army against Bronson? Those are heavy, life-changing choices for a twenty-year-old. I threw a lot on this kid’s shoulders at once, but I suppose I’m known for that! You’ll have to give it a read to see what he decides…
